PUBLIC SPACES WITHOUT SEXUAL HARRASSMENT

Our indian partner organisation “Olakh – A space to share” organises the action campaign “Rising to make Public Places Safe for Wo_men” between end of November and mid-December. It is largely being organised by young volunteers (students of architecture and young professionals) and aims to contribute to the city of Vadodara (in the state Gujarat) becoming a safer place for wo_men.

“To address the often ignored issue of sexual violence in public places, we initiated our action-based campaign “Rising for a Safe Vadodara for wo_men”.

Our aim is to create awareness and advocate for gender-inclusive public places, where every wo_man can go – no matter where, when or with whom – without any fear!”
