Study Palestine

As a movement organisation involved in local movements in Germany, KURVE Wustrow has also been supporting nonviolent resistance movements in other countries. 

• The main theoretical objective of this study is to shed light on the role of outside actors through developing and applying a framework of analysis. 
• The main practical objective is, on the one hand, to inform external actors on what types of support might be meaningful for a movement. 
• On the other hand, it is to contribute to an information basis for actors of nonviolent resistance to decide if and what kind of support they want to receive. 
• An additional objective is a self-critical depiction of KURVE Wustrow’s Civil Peace Service programme in Palestine and Israel between 2012-2016. 

Essentially, the aim of this study is to contribute to the promotion of fruitful external support to nonviolent resistance movements, and to decrease potentially harmful effects.
