Neu 2025: Webinare – Spotlight on …

Im Mai und August 2025 haben die ersten beiden kompakten Impulse zu aktuellen Trainingsthemen rund um Do No Harm, Projektmanagement und gewaltfreie Konfliktbearbeitung stattgefunden – jeweils gefolgt in zeitlicher Nähe von mehrtägigen Trainings zur Vertiefung.

In diesen kostenlosen Webinaren möchten wir auch in Zukunft zweimal im Jahr Einblick in unsere Trainingsarbeit geben. Unsere erfahrenen Trainer*innen stellen in aller Kürze ein bestimmtes Konzept, eine Methode oder ein Werkzeug vor und berichten von ihren Erfahrungen aus der Praxis.

Spotlight on … Social Defense 

Social Defense is a concept to defend one’s society in a nonviolent way against an attack either from the inside, like a coup d’etat, or the outside, like a military invasion. Historically, there are many examples that people have opted for nonviolent resistance, and succeeded. What are the conditions for success? And how can we prepare for social defense instead of relying on military defense? 

This concept is part of the practitioner training on “Nonviolent Conflict Transformation” - in case you want to know more about this in a broader context.

Spotlight on … Implicit Ethical Messages 

Implicit ethical messages are messages that we as peace practitioners, development workers or human rights activists send through our behaviour and how we run our projects and organisations. These hidden messages might be perceived as contradictory to our good intentions and project aims. According to the Do No Harm-approach, the concept of Implicit Ethical Messages is one of the two patterns how a project interacts with its context either in a positive or negative way. 

This concept is part of the Practitioner Training on “Applying Do No Harm”, on “Project Management” and the “Do No Harm-Training of Trainers” —in case you want to know more about this in a broader context.
